"Making" is exactly that - building or creating something that's of interest to you. It might be a collaboration, or you might make something on your own. It might be something you are doing as part of a school project, or it might be something you are doing purely out of interest. It's up to you.
A Makerspace is a collaborative learning environment which provides students with an opportunity to engage in hands-on, open-ended and creative ways to design, experiment, build and invent. Makerspaces often expose students to emerging technologies, and encourage our students to be innovators and risk-takers. A Makerspace is more than just the physical space; it is a mindset of community partnership, collaboration, creation, and problem solving.
